Celebrate the 50s Elvis with a gloriously sculpted and vividly colored Jailhouse Rock Character Jug. Taking as its theme the classic 1957 musical and hit single, it captures the look of Elvis, and features an intricately designed handle with images from the gates of Graceland to the famous 'Teddy Bear'. An excellent, exclusively designed, hand made and hand decorated Elvis character jug made by Royal Doulton. As you would expect of Royal Doulton and 'the King of Rock 'n' Roll', it's a magnificent piece to behold. The front of the handle incorporates the musically themed gates of Graceland, Memphis, with Elvis depicted in his famous 'Jailhouse Rock' cellblock dance routine. And the guitar? Elvis sent his beloved '56 J200 out to be refurbished, but needed a new 1960 model in time for a recording session. On the reverse you will find the motto of the 2nd Armored Division from his time as a conscript...and there's a sample 'Teddy Bear' after the one used to promote the single from the film 'Loving You'...and the hundreds sent in by fans!
